This service is for those who don't have much time or desire to make big revisions and overhaul their manuscript. The first step is reading your manuscript with developmentally focused edits in mind. Then, we discuss proposed changes. Afterwards, I make those revisions myself while working to maintain your voice and original vision.

The Process:
We have an initial meeting session over your chosen method of communication (email, phone, zoom). For this initial session, we'll discuss your manuscript. At this time, you'll let me know your target audience, what type of voice you want to portray through your characters, how you want your readers to portray your manuscript, what expectations you have for your manuscript, and where the story is will lead, etc.
Then, I'll read the manuscript in its entirety. As I read, I will make detailed in-line comments and suggestions on areas that should be improved and handwritten notes on major areas of revision that require a complete overhaul.
Once done, I will compile my handwritten notes together into an outline and letterform report, explaining in-depth the necessary revisions to be made. After you've gone over it, you'll schedule an appointment with me via your chosen method of communication (email, phone, zoom) to discuss proposed changes. Only after all proposed changes are agreed upon; will I then go in and overhaul your manuscript, making those revisions while being sure to maintain your manuscript's voice and vision.
When completed, I will then return your manuscript with all my revisions in the in-line tracked changes section, where you will be able to either accept or reject my edits individually or as a whole. After receiving your manuscript back and going over it, you'll make an appointment to have a review session with me. During this review session, we go over the in-line edits together, and I'll answer any questions you may have. If there are still some areas you wish to have big revisions made, you will send the manuscript back to me after you've gone through and accepted/rejected previous edits and revisions. I will then go back in and make the proposed revisions to the areas we've discussed in our review session.
I will send the manuscript back with my final revisions in the in-line tracked changes. After you've gone over them, you'll make an appointment for our final review session. Any further revisions after this point will be charged with an additional fee of $10/page.
