The editorial assessment is a bird's eye view of your manuscript. With this, you'll receive a letter with a detailed report on what's working and what's not.

The editorial assessment is a starting point on getting your manuscript revised on a structural level. I will look at character development, thematics, pacing, plot structure, prose/dialogue, grammar, spelling, and sensitivity reading for any cultural and/or racial bias, misrepresentation, and/or stereotypes.
The process:
I read your manuscript in its entirety. Then, I draft up a report leaving notes on your strengths and weaknesses, along with where revisions are necessary, and suggest what type of edits you may require (That is, if you are in need of any). Once done, I send the editorial assessment to you to use as a starting point to go over my notes and make any necessary changes you see fit to make.
