I'm not perfect, but neither are you.
Yet, you are perfectly you and I am perfectly me.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
You and I, we both align but also don't.
Yet, that's both perfect and imperfect.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
You and I, both perfect and imperfect together.
Yet, you only see the imperfect in me, but I am perfectly me.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
Though Christians we are, the perfectly you and me have many flaws.
Yet, I still choose to love the perfectly you and me that's also imperfect.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
You and I, we are the same.
Yet, you struggle to accept and love the perfectly me.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
You and I, both perfectly and imperfectly tied to one another.
Yet, we are now apart.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
I am crushed and hurt; fore I miss all that is perfectly you every day.
Yet, I put my faith, trust, and hope in God for your happiness and mine.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
I'm not perfect, but neither are you.
Yet, you are are perfectly you and I am perfectly me.
We are perfectly imperfect.
Yet, made perfect through Christ.
1Peter4:8
"Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins."
Acts of the Apostles13:39
"Everyone who believes in Him is made right in God's sight - something the law of Moses could never do."
Hebrews7:19
"For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God"
Hebrews10:14-17
"For by that one offering He forever made perfect those who are being made holy. And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, "This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts and I will write them on their minds." Then he says, "I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.""
James3:2
"Indeed, we all make many mistakes. Fore if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way."
John8:7-9
"They kept demanding an answer, so Jesus stood up again and said, "All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!". . . When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman."
Romans3:21-26
"But now God has shown us a way to be made right with Him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Christ Jesus. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when He held back and did not punish those who sinned in times of past, for He was looking ahead and including them in what He would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate His righteousness, for He himself is fair and just, and He makes sinners right in His sight when they believe in Jesus."
None of us are perfect, but we are perfectly ourselves, perfectly imperfect. However, we were made perfect through Christ Jesus, who sacrificed His life on the cross and bore all our sins, all so that we would be made right in God's eyes. The laws of Moses in the Bible didn't make us perfect; Christ Jesus did. Although, that doesn't mean we shouldn't follow the 10 Commandments; we should. But if you slip up and make a mistake, your sin does not define you. Your sin no longer can hold you back. For Jesus has taken up all our sins, both past, present, and future. You are already forgiven. You are already saved!
John19:28-30
"Jesus knew that His mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, "I am thirsty." A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to His lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, "It is finished!" Then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit."
IT! IS! FINISHED!
So, go, knowing that you are perfectly you, which is perfectly imperfect, who was made perfect through Christ! And don't get caught up on trying to be perfect or trying to make or align someone else to be perfect either. Because those people around you are just as perfectly themselves, also perfectly imperfect, yet made perfect through Christ, too.
